As ZoneAlarm Extreme Security and ZoneAlarm ForceField virtualize the web
browsing session, at times there may be problems installing browser plugins or
making permanent changes to certain browser or browser plugin settings.
To make browser related changes permanent, please open your browser (Internet
Explorer or Firefox), left click the ZoneAlarm ForceField toolbar and choose
Open Unprotected Browser. You can now install any browser plugins and/or modify
settings relating to your browser or your browser plugins to make them
permanent.
To bring your settings across into the virtualized browsing session, please do
the following:
ZONEALARM EXTREME SECURITY: Right click the ZoneAlarm Extreme Security
“Z” icon in the tray near the clock and choose "Restore ZoneAlarm Extreme
Security Control Center". Once the main window opens, select Browser Security on
the left, click the Settings button, the Advanced tab on the popup and click the
"Clear Virtual Data" button. If Enable virtualisation is not already ticked,
please tick it. Once complete, click the OK button and close the main ZoneAlarm
Window.
ZONEALARM FORCEFIELD: Right click the ZoneAlarm ForceField “F” icon in
the tray near the clock and choose "Settings". Once the Settings window opens,
select the Advanced tab up the top and click the "Clear virtual data" button and
wait around 30 seconds for the process to complete. Once complete, click the OK
button. |
