If you would like to install ZoneAlarm on another computer and ZoneAlarm will remain installed on the original computer, you will need to purchase an additional license at the discounted renewals rate here:

If the new computer is a "replacement" computer, then you do not need to purchase another ZoneAlarm license. However, please uninstall ZoneAlarm from the old computer first (if possible) and follow the instructions below:

Please follow the instructions below to activate, download and configure ZoneAlarm. We recommend you copy and save these instructions as a Microsoft Word document or text file for easy offline use.

First, download and “save” the latest ZoneAlarm installation file to your computer:

Before installing ZoneAlarm, please uninstall all other add-on Firewall or AntiVirus programs (assuming the version of ZoneAlarm you purchased has AntiVirus protection), in order to ensure there are no conflicts with ZoneAlarm. Failing to do so can result in problems with your computer and ZoneAlarm.
PLEASE NOTE: The Windows Firewall will be turned off automatically by ZoneAlarm during the installation process.

Please locate the ZoneAlarm installation file you downloaded and saved to your computer and begin the installation by double clicking on the installation file.

We recommend you accept the "default" recommendations while proceeding through the setup options to ensure that ZoneAlarm is configured correctly.

When the initial setup is complete, ZoneAlarm will ask to restart your computer. Please click “Restart Computer” to continue.

COPY and PASTE your license key into the license key area of the ZoneAlarm Evaluation window and click "Authorize Key". Your license key would have been emailed to you at your time of purchase.
Please do NOT attempt to type in the key. Due to the length and complexity of the alphanumeric key, mistakes can be made very easily.

We recommend you choose the "Internet Zone" on the “New Network Found” setup window. However, if you are on a private network with other trusted computers and wish to share files, printers or other resources, you may wish to choose the "Trusted Zone."

The installation is complete. You can now close the ZoneAlarm window and continue using the computer.
