If ZoneAlarm detects a potentially harmful email attachment, ZoneAlarm may quarantine the attachment by renaming the file extension so that the attachment cannot be run or opened.

If you trust the sender of the attachment, you can simply double click on the quarantined file and ZoneAlarm will ask you whether you wish to extract or run the file. If you do not trust the sender of the attachment, delete the entire email.
